Itinerary

1. Colosseum 60 min

   The Colosseum visit covers the first and second tiers in 60 minutes. Each child receives a bag containing an activity booklet before the tour begins.

2. Roman Forum 90 min

   The Roman Forum visit lasts 90 minutes, with the booklet used along the route. The final site visited is the remains of Caesar’s temple.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. If you decide to cancel because of rain, cancellation at least 24 hours before departure brings a full refund. Later cancellations receive no refund.

Know before you go

• The booking voucher must carry every traveller’s full name, including each child’s. Bring a passport or photo ID matching the name on your ticket.
• Be at the Colosseum gate 15 minutes before your booked slot. Entry at a different time is not allowed. Tour start times depend on ticket availability.
• Your held slot still requires security screening. Bags go through a scanner; large bags are barred, as are glass and sprays.
• The Colosseum route goes up to the second tier. Wear suitable shoes for the park paths; high heels and flip-flops are unsuitable.
• Pushchairs are allowed on the family tour. Hold children by the hand and stay on the marked park paths. The booklet is in English only.
• Infants aged 0 to 2 cost €0, with up to 15 people per private booking. The booklet’s activities are designed for children aged 5 to 10.
• From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. Choose a morning or 13:15 departure for the full 2 hours 30 minutes before winter closing.
• Food and drink are outside the tour price, as are optional gratuities. The guided route covers the tiers and Forum; the Palatine visit is independent.
