One timed entry to the Colosseum with the underground, visited with a park guide in a group of up to 25 people including the guide, with a whisper system for larger groups; the arena floor; the first and second tiers. One entry to the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill and the SUPER sites. The ticket is valid for two consecutive days, so the Forum can wait until the second day.
With the educational tour the ticket costs €32 instead of €24. EU citizens aged 18 to 25 pay €2 for the €24 ticket. The attic is not included on any underground ticket.

Online, on the official ticket shop, 30 days before the visit day. The newest date goes on sale every day, so the slots for a date appear exactly 30 days before it. The last entry to the underground is 16:40.
The ticket is nominative: one name per ticket, ID at the gate. The park allows one name change, by midnight on the seventh day before the visit, only for a clerical error in the name, the wrong ticket type bought in the same transaction or a serious documented reason.

The visit
On the day
Arrive at the Colosseum entrance 30 minutes before the slot, with the ticket and an ID in the holder's name; the park allows no delay for the underground. The underground group meets inside with the park guide and follows the walkways through the central corridor and the side galleries, then comes up to the arena platform. The tiers are yours after that, within the 75 to 90 minutes the ticket allows inside the building. The Forum and the Palatine have no time limit on the same day or the next.
Plan around: the park's last admission is 17:30. Keep the underground slot in the morning.

Three alternatives remain. A tour with the underground inside: €24 at the park, from €149 on the tour, which adds the operator's guide and a held slot. The Full Experience Arena ticket, €24, opens 7 days ahead and is sold at the ticket office on the day. It has the arena floor but not the corridors. A Night at the Colosseum, €50 on Tuesday and Thursday, goes through the underground after closing and opens 7 days ahead.
