Meeting point

Itinerary

1. Piazza del Colosseo 60 min

   Your guide takes the group from the Caffè Roma meeting point to the Colosseum entrance for the security check.

2. Colosseum 30 min

   Colosseum Underground Guided covers the underground and arena floor, with access to the tiers. The guided visit ends inside the Colosseum.

3. Palatine Hill

   The daytime ticket opens Palatine Hill for a visit on your own. The night ticket has no Palatine entry.

4. Roman Forum

   The daytime ticket opens the Roman Forum for a visit on your own. The night ticket has no Forum entry.

Cancellation policy

No free cancellation: all sales are final. Bookings are confirmed at once. If you cancel because of rain, you get no refund. All sales are final on all 3 options.

Know before you go

• Bring valid ID for each guest, including children aged 1 to 17. The name must match the ticket.
• Meet at Caffè Roma 15 minutes before your tour starts. The park requires arrival at the underground entrance 30 minutes before the booked entry slot. Tour starts and entry slots are separate times.
• All 3 options require a security check. Phone and paper tickets both work at the gate.
• Wear shoes suited to walking, with no high heels or flip-flops. The tour needs a moderate level of fitness; stay on marked paths.
• Wheelchair users can join the tour, and service animals are allowed. Hold children by the hand in the park; infants and small children can use a pushchair.
• From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. The daytime underground ticket lasts 2 days in a row. An afternoon tour can leave the Forum for the other day of your ticket.
• Food and drinks are outside the tour price, as are tips. There is no hotel pickup or drop-off.
• Colosseum Arena Floor Tour costs €99 with the €24 arena ticket. Children aged 1 to 17 pay €59 for that option.
