1. Colosseum

   The Colosseum stop covers the underground and arena floor. The route also reaches the first and second tiers.

2. Roman Forum

   Your English or Spanish guide covers the Roman Forum, including the tomb of Julius Caesar.

3. Palatine Hill

   The Palatine Hill visit is guided in your chosen language. The stop covers the emperors' houses and views across the city.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. If rain changes your plans, cancel at least 3 full days before departure for a full refund. Cancellations within 3 days of departure receive no refund.

Know before you go

• Every booking name must match the full first name and surname on the visitor's ID. Bring the matching ID for every adult and child; a name mismatch can mean refused entry.
• Meet your guide 15 minutes before the tour starts. Late arrivals cannot join and receive no refund. The park requires arrival at the underground entrance 30 minutes before the booked entry slot.
• Every visitor must pass through a metal detector at the Colosseum entrance. Large bags and big backpacks are barred from the Colosseum, as are glass and sprays.
• The route has steps and uneven paths, especially in the Roman Forum. Wear flat shoes. This tour is unsuitable for wheelchair users or visitors recovering from recent surgery.
• Children aged 0 to 17 fall in the child band on the day of the tour. Children must be held by the hand throughout the visit.
• From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. These hours apply to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill as well as the Colosseum.
• Journey Tours includes the reservation fee in your tour price. Hotel pickup and drop-off are excluded from both language options, as are tips.
