Will everyone in your booking sit in the same golf cart?

Your party may be split between 2 carts on the GC City tour. Each cart has 7 seats, including 2 facing backwards. Seats rotate every hour. Both carts travel together, with headsets carrying the guide's live commentary to all guests.

What's included

GC City includes no Colosseum park ticket. The 10 minute Colosseum stop is outside, and the Pantheon stop also excludes entry inside. Gelato and bottled water are included in the cart fare.

Does GC City replace a Colosseum entry ticket?

GC City excludes the €18 Colosseum park ticket. The park ticket opens the first and second tiers, plus the Forum and Palatine within 24 hours. Online sales open 30 days ahead. Your ticket: GC City, €89; add the separate €18 ticket for an interior visit outside the tour.

1. Via Urbana 40 5 min

   The ride starts at Via Urbana 40 in Rome. The order of the stops can change with road closures or traffic.

2. Piazza del Colosseo 10 min

   The 10 minute Colosseum stop covers exterior views and photos, with no entry inside the building.

3. St. Peter's Square 5 min

   This 5 minute section views St. Peter's Square from the golf cart. A photo stop depends on city police allowing the cart to stop.

4. Piazza Venezia

   Your cart passes Piazza Venezia for views of the Vittorio Emanuele monument during the city ride.

5. Isola Tiberina

   Your route passes the Garibaldi Bridge for views of Isola Tiberina and Ponte Fabricio from the cart.

6. Area Sacra di Largo Argentina

   The route passes the archaeological remains at Area Sacra di Largo Argentina, where a cat sanctuary occupies the site.

7. Piazza Navona 10 min

   The 10 minute stop at Piazza Navona includes views of Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers.

8. Piazza della Minerva 5 min

   Piazza della Minerva gets 5 minutes beside Bernini's elephant statue and obelisk, near the Pantheon.

9. Pantheon 20 min

   Your 20 minute Pantheon stop stays outside the building and includes gelato at the gelateria.

10. Trevi Fountain 15 min

    The Trevi Fountain stop lasts 15 minutes, with free views from the square. Non-residents need a €2 ticket to reach the basin and steps.

11. Spanish Steps 15 min

    The Spanish Steps stop takes 15 minutes for views and photos. The Barcaccia Fountain sits at the base of the steps.

12. Via Urbana 40 5 min

    The ride ends at Via Urbana 40, returning to the same address as the meeting point.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. Road closures or events can change the stop order, and the tour leader can alter the route to suit traffic.

Know before you go

• Children aged 0 to 12 cost €89, the same fare as an adult. Infant seats are available for the ride.
• Your party may travel in separate carts that stay together throughout the route. Each cart has 2 rear-facing seats, with seating rotated every hour.
• For a separate Colosseum visit, bring ID matching the name on your ticket. Arrive at the gate 15 minutes before the slot on a standard €18 ticket.
• Walking shoes suit a separate park visit; high heels and flip-flops are unsuitable. Hold children by the hand and stay on marked paths inside the park.
• From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. These hours concern a separate interior visit; GC City includes only the exterior Colosseum stop.
• Hotel pickup and drop off are excluded from the fare. Tips are also excluded. Bottled water and gelato are included in your ride.
• Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund. Later cancellations receive no refund.
