- Colosseum 90 min
The arena options enter through Gladiator's Gate before the climb to the first and second tiers. The Basic option uses the tiers.
- Roman Forum 60 min
Your guided Forum route includes the Temple of Julius Caesar and the Roman Senate House. The route also passes the Arch of Titus.
- Palatine Hill 20 min
Your guide climbs Palatine Hill with the group for views over the Circus Maximus. The walk passes the remains of the palaces.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. The Forum and Palatine route is outdoors. The park is closed on 25 December and 1 January.
Know before you go
- The booking needs every visitor's full name, including children. Bring the passport or ID that matches each ticket.
- The meeting time is 10 minutes before your tour starts. Be at the gate 15 minutes before the Colosseum slot; the gate cannot change your entry time.
- Bags go through a scanner. Glass and sprays are barred; large bags cannot enter.
- The route needs moderate fitness and climbs to the tiers and Palatine Hill. The tour is not recommended for visitors with poor cardiovascular health. Wear shoes that suit the climbs.
- The group cannot take wheelchairs or visitors needing special assistance with walking. Pushchairs and baby carriages cannot join either.
- On the compared option, ages 7 to 17 pay €75.45; ages 0 to 6 pay €42.45. Children must be held by the hand in the park.
- From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30.
- Guide tips are excluded. Cancel at least 3 full days before departure for a full refund. Cancellation within 3 days brings no refund.
