The Colosseum Group option includes 90 minutes on the first and second tiers. The option excludes arena floor access.
- Palatine Hill 60 min
The Colosseum Group option includes a 60-minute guided visit through the Palatine's imperial palace area. The Palatine has views over the Forum and Circus Maximus.
- Roman Forum 30 min
The Forum has a 30-minute guided visit along the Via Sacra and among the public buildings. The order of sites can change.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. Sites can close at short notice. City Wonders offers an extended tour that keeps the advertised total duration.
Know before you go
- Your booking needs full names for all travellers. Bring the passport or government-issued ID that matches your ticket name. Names cannot be changed after booking.
- Be at the Colosseum gate 15 minutes before your entry slot. Entry at another time is not possible.
- Your Colosseum booking includes a held slot. Security checks can still delay entry to the site.
- The tour is not recommended for poor cardiovascular health. Wear comfortable walking shoes and carry a reusable water bottle. Much of the route has limited shade; a hat and sun cream are recommended.
- Children aged 2 to 17 cost €54 on Colosseum Group. Infants aged 0 to 1 cost €0. Hold children by the hand.
- From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. Departures do not override the park's closing time.
- Cancellation at least 3 full days before departure gives a full refund. Cancellation within 3 days gives no refund.
- Tips and hotel transfers are excluded. Your group meets the City Wonders coordinator at Largo Gaetana Agnesi.
