Itinerary

1. Colosseum 60 min

   The underground option takes your group below the arena as well as onto the floor and tiers. Arena options enter through the Gladiators' Gate.

2. Roman Forum 45 min

   Your guide leads a walk through the Roman Forum. The visit covers the site's role in Rome's public and political life.

3. Palatine Hill 45 min

   The Palatine visit is guided. The route covers the ruins and the hill's place in Rome's foundation story.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. July and August tours last 2 hours 30 minutes because of the heat. The route still needs a moderate level of fitness.

Know before you go

• Give every traveller's full name at booking. Your voucher must carry those names, and each guest needs a passport or ID that matches.
• Join the tour at the Crown Tours office before heading to the gate. Your Colosseum entry is tied to the booked slot.
• Glass and sharp objects cannot go inside the Colosseum. Alcohol and sprays are also banned. Wear comfortable shoes for the route.
• The tour needs moderate fitness and cannot take wheelchairs. Crown Tours advises against this route during pregnancy or for travellers with spinal injuries.
• Children aged 6 to 17 pay €269 for the underground option. Adults aged 18 to 70 pay €299, including the €24 park ticket.
• From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. Your booked slot governs entry.
• Food and drinks are extra; tips are also outside the price. Hotel pickup and drop-off are excluded.
• Cancellation at least 3 full days ahead receives a full refund. Cancellation 1 to 3 days ahead returns 50%; within the final day, there is no refund.
