Rome: Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill Guided Tour
3 hours up to 24 people ★ 4.6 (25,871)

Three ways remain. When Colosseum tickets are sold out, the €24 Full Experience Arena ticket is still sold at the ticket office on the day. A tour with the park ticket inside uses the operator's held slot. A Night at the Colosseum, €50, opens 7 days ahead for Tuesday and Thursday. For the underground, only the tour and the night visit work.

Sold out means the park's timed slots for a date are taken. The park sells one new day every day, 30 days ahead, and operators hold group slots on top.
By zone
A tour with the standard ticket inside: €59 on the standard route, in a group of up to 24. Or the Full Experience Arena ticket at the ticket office on the day, which includes the tiers.
The Full Experience Arena ticket, online 7 days ahead or at the ticket office on the day. The 24h Only Arena ticket gives 20 minutes on the floor. A tour with the arena inside: €87 on the arena floor tour we would book.
The park ticket is sold online, 30 days ahead. Once it is gone, take a tour with the underground inside, from €149, or A Night at the Colosseum, €50, on sale 7 days ahead.
Park ticket only, 30 days ahead, slots until 14:30. No tour on our bar includes it; try another date.
The Forum Pass SUPER, €18, no slot, any day, use within 30 days, with the SUPER sites. Not valid on free Sundays.
Your ticket: Full Experience Arena, €24, at the ticket office on the day or online 7 days ahead. Go early; the last entry to the arena on that ticket is 15:00.
How
Operators book group slots with the park in advance and sell them one place at a time, with a guide and the park ticket inside the price. That is why a tour can show availability for a date the official shop has closed. The price is the ticket plus the guide and the operator's margin. €24 at the park; €149 on the underground tour, which adds the guide and the held slot. The park's 75 to 90 minutes inside apply to the group.
Plan around: compare tours by the zone inside, the group size and the start time, not by the word "skip the line".

When
Every day the park opens sales for the day 30 days ahead. A date sold out today gets no new standard or underground slots; the next open dates are at the far end of the window. The Arena ticket is the one that opens late, 7 days ahead, and the ticket office sells it on the day. The night visit opens 7 days ahead too.
Plan around: for a date inside the next week, the Arena ticket and the tours are the realistic options.

The Full Experience Arena ticket is sold at the ticket office on the day of the visit. The standard and underground tickets are timed online sales; on free days tickets are given out at the ticket offices by queue.
Often, yes: operators hold group slots booked in advance and sell them with a guide. The tours we compare name the park ticket inside the price.
A tour with the underground inside, from €149, or A Night at the Colosseum on Tuesday and Thursday, €50, on sale 7 days ahead.
Yes, on the Forum Pass SUPER, €18: the Forum, the Palatine and the SUPER sites, no slot, within 30 days of purchase.
Four tours by the option we would book, for the days the official shop shows nothing: the standard route, the arena floor, the underground and a six-person group.
