Itinerary
- Colosseum 60 min
Your guide introduces the Colosseum's structure on the walk to the entrance. The 60 minute visit covers the first and second tiers.
- Roman Forum 45 min
The Forum route enters near the Senate House and passes the temple of Julius Caesar. Your guide stays with the group for the 45 minute stop.
- Palatine Hill 45 min
The 45 minute Palatine route climbs towards the imperial palace. The last stop is Domitian's hippodrome.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 168 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. The park closes on 25 December and 1 January. A departure can also be cancelled if too few people book.
Know before you go
- Give every traveller's full name when you book. Bring the matching passport or ID to enter the Colosseum and Forum. Your voucher must carry all names.
- Arrive at the Colosseum entrance 15 minutes before your booked entry slot. The park does not admit visitors at a different time from the booking.
- The Palatine section climbs the hill, so wear shoes suited to walking. Prams and pushchairs are allowed on this tour. Hold children by the hand on the park paths.
- On Colosseum Group Experience, ages 1 to 11 cost €12; ages 12 to 17 cost €12. Infants under 1 cost €0.
- A full refund requires cancellation at least 7 full days before departure. Cancellation within 7 days receives a 0% refund. The deadline applies to your departure time.
- From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. The Colosseum opens at 8:30. The Forum and Palatine open at 9:00.
- Your fare excludes transport to and from the meeting point. Food and drinks are extra, as are tips. A mobile or paper ticket is accepted.
