Free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed at once. The park closes on 25 December and 1 January.
Know before you go
- Your booking needs the full name of every traveller. Bring the matching passport or ID, including for children.
- Be at the Colosseum gate 15 minutes before your entry slot. Entry at a different time is not possible.
- Glass and sharp objects cannot enter the Colosseum; the same ban applies to alcohol and sprays.
- Crown's small group tour is not recommended for travellers with spinal injuries. Wear comfortable shoes for this walking route. Hold children by the hand and stay on marked paths.
- English tour places cost €64 for ages 6 to 17, or €5 for ages 0 to 5. Children still need a tour booking despite free park admission.
- From 1 to 24 October, last admission is 17:30 and the park closes at 18:30. Your tour price excludes food or drinks, plus hotel transfers and tips.
- Cancellation at least 3 full days before departure receives a full refund. Between 1 and 3 days, the refund is 50%. Within 1 day, the refund is 0%.
- July and August visits last 2 hours 30 minutes because of the heat, with the guide taking you through the archaeological sites.
